Restart is a system utility for advanced users with more than one operating system installed on their machine. The program installs an icon in the notification area, and with a single click the computer will shutdown and restart with the selected operating system. The program also includes commands to shutdown the computer in different ways (including stand-by and hibernate), a schedule function, and advanced settings for uncommon configurations.

KB961367: Windows 7 Beta WMP 12 Corrupt MP3 Bug Fix

A few days ago, we had Windows 7 Beta (build 7000) leaked on torrent sites which was downloaded by thousands of users.

Direct User Switching Task v1.5

Windows XP and Windows Vista have a Fast User Switching mode of operation that allows more than one user to be logged onto the computer at the same time. This is accomplished by creating a separate session for each user that logs on, however only one of these sessions is allowed to be active at any one time, whether that is sitting at the machine (termed the console) or via a remote connection. You can switch from one user session to another by using the hot key combination of WinKey+L (the Windows logo key and the ‘L’ key together) or by using the Switch User button on the log off dialog


The Direct User Switching Task (DUST) extends this functionality by providing the ability to switch directly to another user session, via a hot key, without going through the Windows XP/Vista welcome screen. This uses a popup menu of icons in a similar style to Alt+Tab task switching (including using the Shift key to reverse the selection direction). The benefits this task provides over standard Fast User Switching are as follows:

How Can You Change The Name of Recycle Bin

You can change the name of Recycle Bin of your system if you wish. It is very easy and interesting butit require some changes in windows registry,step 1: First click on Start button > click on Run optionstep 2: Type here regedit.exe and press enter then you will find there regedit editorstep 3: In regedit editor you will open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder, In this folder open the CLSID folder then open the {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} folder >ShellFolder folder at laststep 4: Here simply change the data value from "40 01 00 20" to "70 01 00 20".
After performing all above steps restart your computer then you will find option to rename Recycle bin name after right clicking on Recycle Bin Icon. Now you can change new name as you wish.
